|Unused annual leave must be paid|
Based on Labor Standards Act, a worker shall be granted annual paid leaves and for his/hers unused annul leave, wages must be paid at the end of the following year or upon the termination of contracts.
Worker A is entitled to 14 days in 2018 and still has 10 days unused leave on December 31, 2018.
Though employer and employee agrees on deferred these leaves after consultations, the deferred period shall not exceed December 31, 2019** and the employer shall settle the wage according to law.
** assumed that the employer and the employee agree on using calendar year on annual leave (that is, December 31 of each year)
